Ground Zero

Ground Zero is an emerging Trance and Electronic act in Melbourne, Australia. The stylistic portfolio includes mostly Hard Trance, Techno, Psytrance and a hybrid of Techno, Trance and Hard Rock.

Ground Zero is the place where things begin. Much to learn, much yet to do.... it also sounds like a cool name.

Infinity Hotel

Imagine a hotel boasting an infinite number of rooms. Imagine an infinite number of guests checking in, one by one. There are still infinite rooms left each time, leaving infinite rooms over when they are all done. It is as if no-one checked in at all, making infinity equal to zero. If they all check in at once, the hotel fills immediately. That is Hilbert's Paradox. Infinity is a strange concept.

The track, Dead Zone, is hard trance using binaural beating effects which put the listener into a slow and submissive mental state. You will find yourself moving to the beat if you are not distracted, whether you like it or not. DO NOT LISTEN WHILE DRIVING.

The Void Beckons

The Void is a place external to or before the universe. If the universe is the concept we use to contain the dimensions of time and space, not just the material and events defined within them, then the void is not merely a state of emptiness, but a state inconceivable to the human mind.  Enough. This is music you're supposed to enjoy - EDM with techno and trance influence.

The slow rock track, Therapy, uses two monaural beating effects to produce a sense of euphoria and inner peace, which is uplifting, and therapeutic during times of stress and depression.

Souls in Absentia

Fear is an excuse for being a friend and enemy at the same time when pressure is on. Corruption and conflicts of interest produce insularity and compromise, such as to amount to cowardice under scrutiny. There are inwardly-dead people in this world whose careers hinge upon knowing how to creep around ethical principles and who are better known through the concepts underlying T.S. Elliot's The Hollow Men. A poem based on that is read in the introduction to two very experimental Dark Trance tracks. A highly experimental album,  a variety of influences come into it from the 70's, 80's and 90's.
