And the winner is... Not me! The best Christmas lights display in my neighbourhood in Curlewis, at a house a couple of blocks away. Damn you guys. I give up. :-) Hugs all round.
Several years ago I got a bit of kudos for being the first in the neighbourhood, as I thought at the time, to put up a remotely interested-looking Christmas display with lights on the roof and all that. The days of feeling good about such things are long gone. Long, long gone - and repalced by a race to see who can create nuclear fusion first in their own front garden. Here's a near neighbour - about two blocks away - who has an unassailable lead. Congratulations friend - should we ever meet.
