Black Ops Arcane is an EDM project based in the vicinity of Geelong, Australia.
The musical direction is varied, centred around trance with hard rock and techno influences.
Infinity Hotel.
The mathematician David Hilbert explained the concept of infinity with a hotel having infinite rooms. Infinite guests check in one by one, and infinite rooms are left over. Yet, if you subtract infinity from itself, you get zero. That's Hilbert's Paradox.
This release is the most representative out of the three so far, of the major artistic direction. Released in 2025.
The Void Beckons.
A home-grown album of tracks developed between 2019 and 2022. These are just 10 pieces which evolved out of self-training in the home studio to look at music more rhythmically. Lots of 80's and 90's influence behind a trance-based sound and some interesting experiments.
Thoughts Without Soul.
Another home-based project released in January 2024, with some updates. The musical journey started in the previous release continues. Trance and techno are explored along with some art music and spoken word, with dark results. It comes complete with some 70's disco to get down to and boogie. This album does set foot in new territory, taking a lot of hard work to get it into a releasable state.
